Design and built for a furniture course at the University of Idaho. We had three months to design, prototype and build a piece of furniture for the 2016 IIDA Chair Affair in Boise Idaho.

As someone eager to learn about wood working I design my chair to showcase wood joinery and the beautiful variety of wood species. I used cherry, maple and walnut which provided a beautiful contrast to one another and allowed each lap joint to shine.
